Kilo's former life consisted of life on a chain.  He was terrified and confused at the shelter but his rescue angel Peggy saw the good in him :)  Kilo is getting settled into his Kentucky foster home and it is so far, so good!  He is calm and relaxed and has found his favorite pillow already.

UPDATE ON KILO FROM HIS FOSTER MOM:  I have had Kilo since May 26.  He is such a super guy. He loves my very submissive female hound mix, he loves playing with toys of any type, he's a very healthy eater, he loves to go for rides in the car, he loves to go for walks, he is also quite handy at cuddling on the couch. At some point in his former life, someone took a lot of time with this dog.  He knows basic commands, he walks in heel position, he has good recall, he's housebroken, he's fairly quiet although he does take his job as guard dog seriously if he feels the need to sound the alarm.  He does have a prey drive so would need supervising around small animals.  He has gotten use to my cat, although I would not call him particularly cat friendly.  Under supervision, he might be ok with a cat, not multiples.  His ideal household for adoption would be one where he can be King of his domain as an only dog.  He will love and adore his person but he's not big on sharing and doesn't play well with other canines except for aforementioned submissive females.  He would be perfect for the person who wants a quieter,  calmer, older guy to share life with.
