10/23/18 UPDATE: Tyson came to us from Elkhart, IN. He was adopted in April 2017 and is back with the rescue. He was treated for a urinary tract infection and has had his bloodwork and thyroid rechecked and thyroid medication adjusted. He has put a few pounds back on but could use a few more. Tyson kept his kennel clean while at the vet clinic and was very sweet with everyone and a good boy during all of the poking, prodding and testing. He tested heartworm negative and his fecal was clear. Tyson is now in his Minnesota foster home and will be allowed to chill out and get comfortable with all of the recent changes in his life. Please check back in on him soon!!
1/3/19 FROM TYSON'S FOSTER MOM: Tyson is a super sweet and smart boy who loves to snuggle and be with his people. He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and crawl. He is potty trained and has never chewed on or gotten into anything in the house. I would recommend that he be in a house with older, respectful children, he does well with our 13 year old and his friends. Any intros with resident dogs should be very slow. I also think he would be happy as an only dog. He does have some anxiety issues and sometimes gets nervous and paces if there is a lot of activity going on. Tyson has allergies but they seem to be much better now that he is on a grain free food. He takes two Benadryl a day as well as two thyroid pills. He is very sweet and loving and a very well behaved boy who likes to spend most of his time chilling on the couch. He does well in a crate once he realizes he won’t be spending most of the day in it. Tyson will make an amazing best friend and snuggle buddy.
