Carter is a big handsome boy who is full of fun and LOTS of energy.  He does know some commands.  He is good with other dogs, he would do best in a home with no cats.  He formerly lived outside so his foster mom will work with him on his inside manners.   

UPDATE FROM CARTER'S FOSTER MOM:  Carter was kept outside in a muddy pen his whole short life and it is amazing how well mannered he is despite his beginnings.  He is completely potty trained.  He holds it while I'm working in the day and all night.  He is very playful and get along with all my dogs; 2 female boxers, a male cocker and my male foster Yorkie.  He does exceptionally well on a leash and if he starts pulling he stops when I say no.  He sits and stays on command and is very gentle when taking treats.  I have seen no aggression at all from him.  He only barks when the other dogs bark.  He prefers to sleep in his crate or under our bed. 

THE LATEST!  Carter was returned to the rescue but lucky for him, he went back to his Wisconsin foster home to foster to adopt!
