About Lincoln | |

We are not sure why this handsome fellow's family didn't come looking for him! From his temporary foster mom: Lincoln is a great dog. He knows sit and takes treats. Since he was so social I gave him a bath right away. He loved it. Sat totally still. Walked the yard with a gentle leader on and was very responsive to that. He knows what toys are and loves to play! He does great crated. No issues getting in the crate or staying in the crate. He sleeps in an extra large crate every night - no peeps or whines and though it's not needed when we are home, we crate for a couple hours so that he can take a nap. His crate is identical and right next to Diesel's crate and they just snooze away. He also likes the occasional nap on the couch :)
Lincoln is full of good looks, personality and charm and a full tail. He continues to settle in and settle down in his temporary foster home and loves to go on walks. No accidents and he is spending more time around the other dogs which is going well. Lincoln will do best in a home with no cats.
UPDATE: Lincoln is back with the rescue and is doing very well in his temporary foster home. His temp foster mom has been working very hard with him on manners, training and socialization. Lincoln has made huge strides and has been out on adventures to stores and his temp foster mom's grooming business. He is a young, ENERGETIC boy who needs structure and leadership and also needs the mental and physical exercise that all young Boxers need. Lincoln also needs a longer term foster home or a furever family who will commit to taking him to obedience training and will work with him at home on his manners.
