Hope is a sweet southern girl who is hanging out at the vet clinic until her spay surgery.  She also has a couple of mammary bumps that need to be removed.  She will recover at the clinic for a few days after surgery then will go to her temporary foster home.  So far we know she is good with other dogs, very sweet and friendly and FULL of energy and love!

UPDATE:  Hope arrived at her foster home a couple of weeks ago and is doing fantastic.  She is learning how to play with her foster furbrother Moses and gets along great with all of the other dogs in the home.  She is a petite girl and is just as sweet as can be!

From our girl:  Hi! My name's Hope. I'm just about the most adorable little "Pocket Boxer" you ever did see! My Foster Mommy always says, "I just love you toooo much, Hopey!" I am a VERY affectionate, cuddly little girl. If I could have my way, I'd be will my people all day, every day. And by the way, ALL people are my people, even young children. Yup, I love them all! When it comes to other dogs, well I'm a real polite girl. I mostly get along with everyone. However, if an alpha dog tries to boss me around, I will try and put them in their place. I currently live with four other dogs, male and female, small and large and get along with everyone great. I also went to the dog park for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it! I get sick of playtime pretty quick though. These dogs wanna keep playing and playing, and well, after a few minutes, I'm onto the next best thing. I do love playtime with my toys though. Give me a ball and I'll chase it as long as you let me! I loveeeee going on walks, and won't pull on my leash at all. I'm just such a gentle girl. Foster Mommy and I have been working on commands. Sit, stay, down & paw are the current four. I'm not destructive at all. I don't care to chew on things I shouldn't, as I don't want to mess up my beautiful smile. I'm not used to living indoors though, so sometimes I forget that I'm not supposed to tinkle inside. So long as I'm crated or contained to one room at night or when Foster Mommy is gone, I do just fine though, and won't have an accident.
