Honey is just a little doll!! Her mom is our Queenie and we are told her dad was a Cane Corso so she could potentially be a big girl. Honey is looking for a family who will be committed to taking her to a minimum of two levels of obedience/training classes and will continue socialization, obedience and training at home.
Hi! My name is Honey! I love stuffed toys, especially ones that squeak, rope toys to play tug with and bully sticks when my foster mama says I am too chewy. I also love my Kong pacifier that sleeps with me in my crate at night. I am a sweet girl and am full of spunk, if I do say so myself. Foster mama and daddy say that I am beautiful, curious, silly, super smart and a little sassy! I love to play and snuggle with my foster fursister, Ella. She is a big Boxer dog and we play chase a lot. We also play tug with rope toys and she lets me win. She is really gentle since I am so little. I saw a kitty once...and didn't really care. I also got up close to a couple big bunny rabbits...they were bigger than me and smelled weird. I kept smelling them but they seemed cool with it. I love to run in the yard, I am sooo proud when I find a new stick in the yard or on a walk. Sticks are amazing but I only get to carry them, foster mom says I shouldn't chew on sticks.
I have a foster brother who is 10. He is a pretty cool kid. I also met my foster cousins who weren't much bigger than me (1, 4 and 12). They were fun. One of them even crawls on the floor like I do! I gave her lots of kisses and followed her around.
I have learned a few things. I can sit when you ask me to, but I get super excited because I know a treat is coming. I can only get the treat if I sit nice. I already know that I need to go potty outside but sometimes I just can't hold it...if I leave a mess it is usually as close to outside as I can get. My foster parents know that when I start sniffing around I need to go outside. But sometimes I whine. I can't decide which cue I want to give them so I keep them guessing. My foster parents are going to start teaching me to ring a bell to go outside, then there will be no more guessing.
I am excited to cover my new forever family with lots of puppy kisses and hugs. Is that you?
