Walker joined us this morning and went straight to the vet clinic to start extensive treatment for demodex mange and open wounds.  He is incredibly sweet and loving despite being in obvious pain and discomfort and he wiggled like crazy when he saw other dogs at the clinic.  It is going to be a long road of recovery for Walker.  

UPDATE:  Walker moved to his Indiana foster home a few weeks ago and is going fantastic!!  He loves all other dogs.  He will chase cats but does not try to hurt them.  He knows the command for "sit" and his foster furbrothers and sisters are teaching him how to potty outside.
