This gorgeous boy was picked up as a stray in North Carolina.  He is friendly and social and loves meeting new people.  He tested very well with other dogs when he first arrived at the shelter but he was there for so long that he started reacting to dogs that passed by his kennel, not unusual for a dog who has been in a shelter for six weeks.  Bocephus will do best in a home with NO CATS as he has a very high prey drive.  He arrived at his temporary foster home and is getting all settled in.

UPDATE:  Bocephus will be hanging out at his temporary foster home in North Carolina a little while longer.  He is crate trained and LOVES people.  Bo will need slow intros with new dog friends as he experienced kennel stress from being at the shelter so long so it will take him some time to get used to being around other dogs again.  His temp foster mom & dad are going to work with him on getting reacquainted with four-legged friends.

2/24 UPDATE FROM HIS NC FOSTER FAMILY:  Bocephus is a very good boy, very gentle and laid back. He gets along well with other dogs.  He loves people and children. He is house and crate trained., knows basic commands. He loves to lounge around on the couch and be a couch potato.
