Casper and his friend Josey were left behind when their family moved.  They were alone for almost two weeks with Casper being left outside and Josey being left inside of the home.  Due to this, both have some food guarding issues that their foster homes will work on.  We know that once they figure out that there will always be food, the guarding should subside.  Casper is full love kisses and loves to ride in the car.  He is nervous when arriving at a new place but does not show any aggression whatsoever.  He is up to date on all vetting and is neutered and is figuring things out at his Indiana foster home.   Casper has a fear of doorways that we are trying to figure out, including the crate door.  His foster moms are working on that, too.  

UPDATE:  Casper is going great in his foster home!!  He is struggling a bit with crating and being left alone but is getting better at it.  He has made friends with his foster furbrother Stratford and enjoys going on walks with him, playing outside or hanging out inside with their foster moms.  

THE LATEST:  Casper was adopted and returned in a very short amount of time.  He will need time to decompress and settle into any new home  and will need our required two week shutdown to help him adjust to wherever he moves to.  He went back to his Indiana foster moms and is getting reacquainted with his foster furbrother.  They continue to do great together.  Casper also attended our Brews for Boxers event this past weekend and did fabulous...he was sharing treats with his foster furbrother and was not at all bothered by all of the noise, people and other dogs.  He is incredibly sweet and looks amazing!
