Lila was surrendered along with her friend Kiera, for escpaing their yard.  Both girls are heartworm positive.  They are at their Indiana foster home for treatment then will be ready to find their forever homes.  

UPDATE:  Lila is all finished with heartworm treatment.  She had issues with the resident female Beagle but has not bothered anyone else in her foster home, she lives with cats and with other dogs in her temp foster home.  Lila is high energy and needs some basic training.  She still needs some work on house training.  Lila does fine in a crate, unless her people are around, then she barks.  

11/5 UPDATE:  Lila went for her heartworm recheck and tested positive.  She is undergoing treatment again.  She is in need of a longer term foster or adoptive home by the end of December.  

12/31 UPDATE:  Lila has completed heartworm treatment and did great!!!  She just moved to her longer term foster home in Illinois and is getting all settled in.  Please check back in on her soon!

2/24/20:  This gorgeous girl is having a blast with her foster fursister, Lola.  Lila's foster dad has her walking beautifully on the leash and they are working on getting better at crating quietly :)  

4/13/20:  Lila is just about the most perfect girl ever!  She has started some training classes and is doing fantastic.  She is getting great to walk on the leash and at looking to her person to lead her.  We are so proud of our girl!!!!
