Kasper has gotten pretty comfy at his foster home already and is full of love and young Boxer energy.  He is pretty strong on the leash and loves to play so he will need LOTS of exercise and play time to make him happy.  A home with a fenced in yard would be best for him.  Kasper is said to have formerly lived with a 12 year old child and is very sweet with the 7 year old child in his foster home.  He has been reactive when on the leash on walks and doesn't seem to be very socialized with other dogs.  Kasper would very likely be happier in a home with no other dogs.  He has not been around cats.

UPDATE:  Kasper will be starting formal training to work on his reactivity with other dogs and to work on some manners and basic obedience.  He has been in some training and daycare activities and has done very well with other dogs so far!! 

UPDATE FROM KASPER'S FOSTER MOM:  Kasper is a sweet boy and knows many commands like sit, shake and stay.  He loves his toys too.  He is high energy and really likes to be near his people.  He is reactive with other dogs and lunges at them while on leash.  He also barks out the window when he sees other dogs.  He has attended doggie daycare and did okay- but not one on one while on leash.  He does play rough while at daycare.  Kasper is very treat motivated as well.  He can be vocal when he wants to play.  He is a typical young boxer.
