This handsome young man hails from Kansas City and his former owner didn't have much time for him so he was spending way too much time alone and crated.  It was a tough decision but they new it was the right thing to do to surrender him to rescue to give him a better life.  Some rescue angels took him in temporarily until rescue was secured and we are so thankful to them for taking care of him and for reaching out for help for him. 

Dexter is about a year old and arrived at his Kansas foster home this past weekend.  His amazing foster mom drove a long way and in lots of snow to pick him up and he has warmed right up to her and has fit right into her pack of two dogs and a kitten :)  We will let Dexter settle in for a few weeks and get to know him a little better and will also get some much needed weight back on him then he will be ready to start looking for his furever family!!!
