Found as a stray in central Illinois, this stunning little wigglebutt is now in a foster home and decomprssing from being in the shelter.  She has alll of her routine vetting done and will be getting spayed very soon.  Ruby is great with kids and doesn't seem to mind sharing her space with cats.  She is working on trusting and learning how to interact with other dogs.  She whines a little bit when first crated but settles down quickly.  She is getting the hang of pottying outside...she is a smart girl and will catch on quickly!!   

1/28 UPDATE FROM RUBY'S FOSTER MOM:  Ruby has settled into her temporary foster home!  She does chase the cats but recalls and listens very well and responds great to no. She's very Boxer in that she's attached at the hip, like everywhere....she sits on the closest rug next to where you are, touching is best LOL. It's pretty sweet. She is still working on potting outside and doing better. We got her schedule down pretty good though. She doesn't bark, doesn't mind the crate, tolerant of anything the kids do, including our general household noise level. Leash walking still a bit of a challenge, haven't worked on much since it's been so cold. She doesn't seem to mind the cold, went right out to potty even when it was windy and bitter.
