Drake just joined the rescue today!  He is at the vet clinic getting all needed vetting then will head to his Kentucky temporary foster home.  Drake is partially to completely blind but seems to have been that way for a while as he doesn't have much trouble navigating his way around.  He tested very well with other dogs at the shelter.  Drake is beyond sweet and is quite the talker!  

4/21 UPDATE:  Drake has settled right into the pack in his temporary foster home.  He seems to be able to see shapes and/or is used to being blind as he doesn't have much trouble manuevering around the house.  He loves to snuggle and is the best boy!!!  We are on hold on getting him neutered due to limited vetting being done at the local clinic right now, but if a longer term foster or adoptive home comes along the clinic will get him in to be neutered :)

5/5 UPDATE:  Drake had neuter surgery and did beautifully!  He also had a skin tag removed from under his front leg that was annoying him.  He is recovering great and is all ready to find his very own family!!
