***ZANE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION UNTIL AT LEAST 11/1/20***

In a joint rescue effort with Muttley Crue Rescue, we were able to pull three Boxers from the shelter in Zanesville, OH.  The two boys came to us with the female named Jenga going to Muttley Crue.  

Zane arrived at his Illinois foster home yesterday after going straight to the vet in Dayton from the shelter.  He is completely vetted, including having the cyst removed from his head, having a bad tooth removed, neutered and microchipped.  He is good with other dogs.  Zane was fear reactive in the kennel at the shelter, mostly to one of the male wardens.  He was reactive in the crate on transport out of the shelter but on all transport after that he rode tethered and was amazing.  He will crate right up, he just seems to be afraid of what might happen when crated.  His foster dad will update us on how that is going.  He is a big boy and is definitely a ladies man...he took right to his foster dad but may have some fear issues when meeting new men, we will work on and update on that, as well.  

9/5:  Zane's foster dad is continuing to work with him on his fear issues.  He will not be available for adoption until at least 11/1/20.  Please check back in on him soon!
