This adorable little guy was picked up as a stray in central Illinois.  Rio is the sweetest boy ever!!  He is super smart, knows some commands and will sit nicely and offer his paw when meeting new people.  Rio listens well and picks up on new things very quickly.  He is also pretty good on the leash.  He is a very friendly, social and outgoing pup and wiggles and leans into everyone he meets.  

Rio is crate trained and knows the commands for sit, lay down, sneak (crawling) and they are working on wait.  Most of the time he will come when called :)  Rio does best when fed separately from other pets in the home, he eats in his crate now (door open) and has no issues with that.  He has also been learning that not ALL of the treats are his and is doing great at that, as well.  Rio would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard as he has a tendency to get distracted and wander off to find new friends OR he MUST be taken out on a leash.  Rio also needs the mental and physical exercise that all young Boxers need.  He is incredibly smart and handsome and loves to snuggle, too!
