Lambeau's parents made the difficult decision to surrender him to the rescue as he has become reactive to some (but not all other dogs), along with some health issues going on in the family. He is getting settled in at his Minnesota foster home and we will let him get used to all of the changes then will work on getting him with some new dog friends to see what is going on.

Hi my name is Lambeau. I am a VERY LOVING AND SWEET 3 year old who came to AABR as an owner surrender. I came from a very loving home that due to circumstances beyond their control, could no longer keep me. I missed my mom and dad when I first came to my foster home, but I quickly fell in love with my foster family.

Hi my name is Lambeau. I am a VERY LOVING AND SWEET 3 year old who came to AABR as an owner surrender. I am FULLY HOUSE TRAINED and would never dream of doing my business in the house-that’s just rude! My foster mom is amazed every day how quickly I go out on my leash, do my potty business and am happy to head right back inside. She keeps calling me “a dream” so I guess that’s good!
I am also very SMART—I know sit, down/lay, shake and “go to place”. I also understand “no” and will stop what I’m doing when I hear it. While hesitant sometimes (mostly because I know it means my people are leaving), I will crate up without issue and I will be VERY excited to see you when you get home. In fact, when you come home, I will greet you with either my bone or my lovey, and definitely with my wiggle butt.
I ADORE kids. My foster skin sisters love to snuggle and play with me and I LIVE for the belly rubs they so kindly give me.
I am pretty CHILL indoors and like to lay at my foster mom’s feet while she works. I am also POLITE—I do not counter surf or jump on furniture unless invited. I only give kisses when asked. I only bark if the doorbell rings and will give a low moan/growl when I see dogs pass by the window, but I’m over it as soon as they are gone.
***Lambeau and his foster family will be meeting up with Darren to work on his leash/other dog issues to see if we can help him be a little more comfortable around other dogs. At this time we are still considering him to need a home with no other dogs. He will do best in a home with a fenced-in yard to be able to get the exercise all young Boxers need***
