Shelby has a bit of a sad story to tell... her mom passed away and her and her little brother, Bear, were left alone in the home for a while until an organization was contacted to help them find homes or rescue.  We are so glad that the Helping Paw Project reached out to us to help Shelby.  

Thanks to amazing volunteers we were able to commit to her. We had a foster step up for Shelby and a driver willing to take her to meet her new foster mom today.  Shelby is a pretty chill girl and seems to be fully housebroken. She gets along great with other dogs and formerly lived in a home with a cat for a little while and has been good with children. She is very sweet and gentle and we believe would fit in and just about any home. Shelby is up to date on all of her vetting but we will be taking her in to get all checked over as she has had some trouble with ear infections in the past and we want to make sure that her ears are looking and feeling OK now.

Shelby will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks after we get to know her better.  She will also be available as a "forever foster/sponsor me" girl if a family would like to offer that for her.
