This beautiful young Boxer boy broke with parvo and his family could not afford to get treatment. A rescue angel took him in and got him all better then reached out to rescue to help him. Bo is under a year old and is incredibly sweet and loving. He is currently at the vet clinic received all routiine vetting and he will be neutered this week.
6/15 UPDATE: Bo was neutered last week and he did great!! He is ready to find his foster or adoptive family!!!
6/20 UPDATE: Bo arrived at his Indiana foster home yesterday. He did fabulous on his short transport, loving everyone he met along the way! He did great with short intros with his foster fursister Tinley and he knows how to sit for a treat, which he takes very gently. Bo seems to be housebroken and he crates right up. Please check back for more updates on him as we get know him better!!
6/30 UPDATE FROM BO'S FOSTER MOM: What can I say about Bo the Boxer? He is an unbelievably handsome and awesome Boxer. Bo is fully house trained; crate trained and sits for and takes treats gently. He is a 10th month old boy, full of energy and ready to explore the world! Bo is a lover. He gets along well with my 11-year-old female Pit and recognizes when she has had enough of his exuberance and respects her growls…after he jumps and leaps around her a few more times. I believe Bo would do well in a family ready to offer him enough exercise and adventures to satisfy his young energy and excitement. He bonds easily with people but is cautiously timid when a new person enters the home that he has not met, but it doesn’t take long for him to become that person’s BFF. Bo does well in cars although I do not think he has spent much time in them. He needs a little work on his leash walking but is ready to learn. I think Bo would do well with someone looking for a running partner or someone with an active lifestyle. He can become a little bored after a long period of no activity. He can jump and get a little excited when his “person” comes home after being gone from the house, but I am sure he will learn from training how to be an even better dog. He does have a little prey drive. He has chased rabbits and squirrels in my yard. Not sure how he would do around cats since I don’t have them, and he hasn’t seen any since he’s been with me. Overall, he’s a great dog that will make a great companion! It will be tough to let him go!!
