Geordi is good with cats - respectful of our resident kitty (who is very dog friendly). His only interest in her is as a playmate. He would love another dog buddy, but I’m also fairly sure he would be just fine as an only puppers He crates well, walks on the leash like he’s done it forever. He’s good with all ages; HOWEVER, he’s still very much a puppy and not aware of his body, so he may unintentionally bump over a small person when he gets excited. I’d put him in the moderate category for pup energy. He’s good for a good romp with his toys and a short walk then wants to snuggle up or crate up and take a nap. He consistently goes to the front door and sniffs when he needs to potty, but we’re still working with him to get him to go poop and pee in one trip. He can be a little unsure of himself with new sounds/experiences (i.e. when the lawncare company came and he saw a big mower for the first time he cowered and tried to run behind us, seeing our steps the first time he tried to pull back and not walk down). Basically a family that will encourage confidence vs. reinforcing the fears. He loves to give kisses, his nose is on the trail every time we step foot outside so we’ve tried to play some “find it” games with him indoors (hide a treat somewhere then have him look for it.) He’s not food/treat motivated, but is highly praise/toy motivated. We’ve had to add a spoon of soft food to the crunchy stuff to get him to eat his meals vs. snacking here and there. Worked like a charm! He eats AM, noon, PM. He’s a very sweet boy and would make any family a lucky addition! Everyone who has met him falls in love right away, and he’s gentle with all ages.
