Braelyn and her sister, Brooke, joined the rescue about a week and they are both currently at the vet clinic and are being treated for all of the medical issues that neglect brings, such as intestinal parasites and skin infections.  Of the two, Brooke is in better physical condition and at closer to a normal weight than Braelyn.  We don't know yet if the girls are bonded....please check back for more information as we get them looking and feeling better and we get to know their personalities a little bit more.

10/15 UPDATE:  Braelyn is spayed.  She has been microchipped and had seven bad teeth removed.  She will be ready for travel to a foster or adoptive home very soon.  The girls are kenneled together and seem to be bonded.

10/27 UPDATE:  Braelyn & Brooke made the trip to their temporary foster home in southern Indiana this morning.  We will give them a little time to settle in and for us to get to know their temperament and personalities a little better and to see if we can gauge if they are bonded or could go to separate homes.
