Oh Cameron...where do we begin.  This boy was in such horrible physical condition that the shelter estimated him at 10+ years, we are thinking he is not quite that old.  He arrived at the vet clinic on February 10th, emaciated and with a badly injured/infected large wound on his right front leg and some skin issue/old puncture would on his left front paw.  With antibiotics and pain medication on board and some hydrotherapy, his leg is already healing and he is getting around on it much better after not even wanting to walk on it before.  He is being fed small meals several times a day and has already gained 4 pounds.  His bloodwork results were a little off on a few things so we are running some further testing just to rule some things out, however, most of the issue may just be from his poor condition.  We also did some x-rays on that badly injured leg and thank goodness there was no break found and no sign of cancer.

Cameron has an AMAZING personality and is FULL of kisses and nub wiggling for the entire staff at the clinic.  He has an amazing attitude and loves EVERYONE!! (especially if you are bringing him food!! LOL).  Everyone at the clinic ADORES him!!

Once he is feeling better, we will get him vaccinated and then he will be moving to his Kentucky foster home.  Please check back for updates on our beautiful Cameron!!

2/26 UPDATE:  Cameron has now received all of his vaccines.  His leg is looking SO much better....just about another week of hydrotherapy should do it!

3/20:  Cameron arrived at his Wisconsin foster home yesterday.  After some brief intros with everyone he is just chilling out and settling in.  Please check back soon for some updated info and pics!!
