Minnesota Roxy came to us as an owner surrender when her owner had an unexpected medical emergency and she was no longer able to take care of her.  She was adopted then returned to the rescue due to her very high prey drive.  Roxy is good with other big dogs, she is NOT good with small dogs, with cats or with other small animals.  She loves to run with the younger big dogs at Unleashed, just about as much as she loves to chill out on the couch with the older Boxer boys there.  Roxy fully vetted, crate trained and housebroken.  She will require a home with a fenced in yard...she cannot be left outside unattended/off leash due to her prey drive.

8/22 UPDATE:  Roxy has moved to a Wisconsin foster home.  Stay tuned for updates!!!!

9/14 UPDATE from Roxy's foster mom:

Roxy is an older girl, tall and about 65 pounds. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She is a great walking companion with lots of energy. She also is happy to flop on the couch for a good nap. She is good on leash, but does need the occasional correction when she sees something of interest like a squirrel or another dog.  Roxy crates well and doesn’t show obvious signs of separation anxiety.  When she is excited she will dance around with as many toys as she can hold in her mouth at the same time. She is friendly with the resident dog but can get overly excited when she sees other dogs out on walks, but it’s not unmanageable. She is good in a fenced yard and doesn’t cause problems.
