This handsome older boy was picked up as a stray in central Kentucky.  He is incredibly sweet and super friendly!  He has had all of his needed routine vetting and his bloodwork looks good for a boy his age.  Champ has a pretty nasty tumor on his lower belly and he is not neutered yet.  The vet did hear a heart murmur so we will be doing some further testing on that before considering any surgery.  

4/29 UPDATE:  Champ's chest x-rays looked good and the specialist did not see any reason why he could not be cleared for surgery. He was neutered yesterday and also had the tumor on his belly removed and had a dental. He did great! He will spend the next week recovering at the clinic and if his incision is healing well he will be able to move to his temporary Kentucky foster home to hang out for a little bit until he is all healed up and cleared to transport to his foster home in Wisconsin.
