Clayton was found by some Good Samaritans in central kentucky who took him home and searched for his owner. He was not microchipped and no owner came forward so the owners reached out for help when they could no longer keep him. We got him to the vet clinic for all of his needed vetting which included neuter surgery and everything routine. The family who found him told us that he was good with their dogs, kids and cats. He is still at the clinic recovering from neuter surgery and it looks like we are going to get him to a very temporary foster near the clinic to get to know him a little better and get some firsthand information on how he is with everyone. He is terrified at the clinic and we are sure that it has either been a very long time since he has seen a vet or he possibly never has. 12/17 UPDATE:  Clayton left the clinic last week and has been hanging out with Laura and her crew for a few days. He is an absolutely fantastic dog! He loves to run and play, he is super smart, and he absolutely loves laying on his super soft dog bed. He is great with other dogs.
