We were contacted to help Whiskey and before we could get him moved to the vet clinic for all of his needed vetting he was hit by a car and suffered a severely broken leg.  We were able to get him to Heartland fairly quickly and thanks to Laura and we are so grateful for that! Whiskey had pretty extensive surgery on his leg and had a plate and screws put in to repair the break. He was also neutered at that time. He has received all of his routine vetting and will be recovering at the clinic for just a little bit and then he will be ready to move to a foster or adoptive home. Whiskey is incredibly sweet and loving and is good with other dogs and good with kids. He has not been cat tested and is NOT good with chickens.

4/20 UPDATE:  Whiskey has been in his Kentucky foster home for a little over a week now and has fit right in. He is still on leash only activity restrictions for a few more days then he will be allowed to have a little more freedom. He is the sweetest boy and is very calm and gentle. He does amazing with other dogs and loves all people!
