Betty joined the rescue a couple of weeks ago and was taken straight to the vet clinic from the Hazard Kentucky shelter. She received all of her needed routine vetting and was spayed and microchipped.  Betty tested positive for heartworm disease and has started on her pre-treatment meds. She came down with kennel cough last week but it's feeling much better after starting all of her medications. Not only is she beautiful, she is also the sweetest and most gentle girl. She is a staff favorite at the clinic! She is good with other dogs we do not know how she feels about cats. Betty is in urgent need of a home who will get her through her room treatment.
