Minnie and her longtime partner Titus (along with their daughter Penny) came to us when their owner passed away. They have been together since they were pups but so far seem like they would be OK separated. Minnie is an energetic gal.  She is very people friendly and we were told good with kids and with cats, as she was raised with both. She has been around an young adult so far in her Illinois foster home. Minnie was SUPER interested in the cats in her foster home when she first arrived and for about the first week or so but once she got her bearings and settled in a little bit she has ended up being perfectly fine with all 10 of them. Please note that it will take her just a little bit of time to readjust after another move to a foster or adoptive home so she will need a week or so to get settled in again and then she will be OK with her cat friends. She was a little guard-y with her food bowl, she isn't snappy, she just really loves her food. Minnie is all caught up on her routine vetting and we will get pre-surgical blood work done. Her spay surgery is scheduled for December 5th. Titus and Minnie are currently in a temporary foster home and Minnie is still in need of a longer term foster home or adoptive home. She is crate trained and housebroken and good with other dogs.

UPDATE:  Minnie's spay surgery was a little rough on her as she had some excess bleeding and the first night after surgery was a little nerve-racking for her foster family but she was much better the next day and has continued to improve each day. We will give her a little more time to heal then she will be ready to find her furever home!

1/20 UPDATE:  Minnie is patiently waiting on that perfect family. Her partner and her their daughter have found their forever homes....let's find hers!!! She is completely vetted, including spayed and microchipped and on monthly preventatives. She is approximately 6-7 years old. She is crate trained and housebroken.

She is the sweetest girl, currently living with 2 Great Danes, 2 Pugs, 10 cats, 2 Macaws, and a Sun conure. She is the perfect girl and loves everyone!
