Well, let me tell ya what........ I am as awesome as they come! My foster mom showed me how to communicate with my people, and this is so much easier. I do not potty in the house, I run up to foster mom, and smack her with my paw, and take off running towards the door. She knows to follow and let me out! Don't tell her, but sometimes I do it just so I can go out and play, I really don't have to go all 300 times I tap her to get let out. I used to be scared to death of the crate, but she showed me that it is not scary at all. I would still rather sleep with her, and go everywhere with my person, but I get bones in the crate, and it's wonderful! I am also learning hand signals. So far I know what potty time, no, and come here signs are and I get a treat every time I recognize them. Foster mom says I am a little skinny so extra treats don't hurt, so I will be taking all the treats I can get. I will walk on a leash, but it's hard for me to walk beside you, I would rather walk a few steps behind you so I can follow you, sometimes I get confused if I try to walk beside you, I need to see where you are going since I don't hear when you say "this way". I will absolutely want a companion dog to live in the home where I am adopted as I rely on a friend to help show me the ropes, and be able to have a mentor. I am also super active, and need a playmate. I love to be loved and will jump up on your lap any chance I get. If you leave your seat I live by the rule "move your feet, lose your seat", so you might as well just sit with me, because if you get up, I will take up the whole space. I like my ears and neck scratched best, and wiggle my leg when you hit just the right spot. I am a whole lotta love, and a little sassy!
Special Needs: Cleopatra is deaf and will do best in a home with another dog.
