This beautiful brindle girl had been on her own for a while when a good samaritan found her and brought her home and looked for rescue help for her. Roxie had been running with two big dogs and recently spent some time hanging around a facility for mentally disabled adults where she was fed and taken care of and loved very much and she loved them as well. She was around small dogs at her temporary foster home and did great. She loves, loves, loves people and is FULL of kisses for everyone. Roxie got all caught up on her routine vetting and she is spayed and microchipped. She is on her way to her Wisconsin foster home and we will check back in soon with updates and more pictures of this gorgeous girl!

4/22 TRAINING UPDATE:  Roxie is doing fantastic with her training.  She has been loose (while highly supervised) with male dogs and does great.  They walk them together prior then bring them back in to play together.

From Kelly:  Male dogs she does very well with, females is hit and miss. She is roommates with 3 male pups currently, one being (our) Drago, and the other two are Pete and Dutch.  We can walk her down our training room no reaction except with one female dog.

6/25 UPDATE:  Roxie's foster family allowed her to completely decompress and adjust to being in a home and is all settled in and is doing amazing.  She just had a bump and a couple of bad teeth removed and bounced back super quickly from surgery.  The clinic even commented on what a wonderful girl she is!  Roxie is still a little socially awkward when meeting new dog friends, her foster mom and dad are continuing to work with her on that.  She loves, loves, loves all people, both adults and children and LOVES to go for rides in the car.
