Maverick wandered up to a home in rural Tennessee.  A nice family took him in for a little while and unsuccessfully tried to locate his people.  They could not keep him so he was taken to the shelter.   Maverick is young, super sweet and incredibly handsome.  He is good with other dogs and loves kids.  His favorite game is ball :) 

UPDATE FROM MAV'S FOSTER MOM:  Maverick.....what a great dog...! He is leash trained, doesnt pull and reacts very well to a quick correction. Knows his basic commands and just is full of love and wants to play!!!!!! He is a bit smaller than Bailey, our senior Boxer girl. His head is smaller so in pictures it looks more dramatic than it is. Wow he is going to make someone and some kids very very happy!  Bailey is being a mom and making she he stays in line with no jumping on her.
