Carolina was found abandoned and starving with her brother Anderson and a couple of other dogs.  She is very sweet and walks VERY VERY well on a leash.  She loves men, loves to ride in vehicles (truck and car).  Carolina LOVES to give kisses!  She is good with other dogs...Anderson is her best friend :)  She is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment soon.  Carolina would do best in a home with no cats or small animals.

UPDATE:  Carolina is finishing up heartworm treatment.  She will be ready for her foster or adoptive home very soon!

LATEST UPDATE ON CAROLINA:

Carolina came to us heartworm positive and under weight. She did really well with her treatment and is ready to adopt the perfect owner. This little girl is a real sweetie. She’s happy on the couch cuddling with you or in her kennel with a kong or other chew. She’s very food motivated and learns new things quickly and easily. She gets along with dogs but cats are a different story. “Linie definitely needs a home with no cats and a fenced in yard. She loves kids and is very gentle with all people. If you have the perfect home for Carolina she’d love to share it with you!!  She does NOT get onto your furniture unless you invite her.  She loves her crate and kong with yummies her favorite is oatmeal & pumpkin with small kibble frozen keeps her happy for hours.

FROM CAROLINA'S MINNESOTA FOSTER MOM:  Carolina is doing really well!  She and Brooks are getting along better now.  She tends to follow him around and he is learning he should be the teacher.  She is such a sweetheart and really likes to play with Brooks and our son.  She will bring us toys to play with but will chew them up if she can.  She plays gently with us and will tug with Brooks.  She took a bit to get used to our stairs but is fine now.  She is also trying to get used to our wood floor - it doesn't slow her down though!  Along with that, she won't go on our tile floor in the bathroom.  :-)  Carolina walks really well and tends not to want to run or jog on the leash.  She does however Iike to run around the yard with Brooks as they play and she tries to nip at his legs - they are pretty good at wearing each other out.  She knows "sit" really well and we are working on "stay," "drop it" and "leave it."  I think she could learn tricks as well, she is pretty smart!
