Monte was picked up by animal control in a very rural area of Kentucky. He is not feeling well at all and will need lots of TLC to help him get his wiggle back.
UPDATE: Monte is feeling much better these days!! He saw the vet last Friday and they were very pleased with his progress. His scratching has just about stopped. We still feed him 2 cups three times a day of the Blue Buffalo Basics Lamb and Potato. The vet believes his skin issues were due to stress, food allergies and the bacterial infection.
THE LATEST: Monte is now with his Minnesota foster family and will be having surgery on his hip, His recovery will take approximately 8 weeks.
