When we received a frantic email about a pup found on a rural Kentucky road with a bag of food, our volunteers went into full rescue mode and got this baby picked up from the wonderful person who picked her up and contacted us.  Her foster mom named her Tallulah and a young daughter of one of her rescue angels was calling her Belle, so we thought it was only fitting to keep both names. 

Tallulah Belle is a complete sweetheart.  She is good with other dogs and great with kids.  She will see the vet tomorrow to be checked over and get some vaccines.  Please check back for more information on her as we get to know her. 

UPDATE ON TALLULAH: 

I have placed a ribbon with bells on the back door so she can tell me when she needs to go out and she started using it yesterday.

She knows her name, come, and leave it. She sits all the time so I don’t really know if she knows the sit command. 

She is a smart cookie and tries to get away with little things. She will go into the garden so I say come, then she comes and gets a treat! She is such a stinker.

She and Nico are getting along great. He has been progressively getting worse with his illness and I think she has helped him to feel better. She loves to keep him on his toes or she loves to just snuggle with him.
