Gus is a handsome Boxer boy who is a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly.  He is also shy when meeting new four-legged friends and will need slow intros and time to get comfortable in new situations.  He is super smart and knows the commands for sit, shake, stay and lay down.  He is housebroken and loves to sleep on his bed next to his human's bed.  Going for walks and car rides are two of his favorite things.  Gus is GREAT on a leash.  Not knowing before where his next meal would come from, Gus is a little protective of his food, but his foster mom will work on that.

UPDATE FROM GUS:  I'm a brindle boxer weighing in at 68 lbs. I'm a people dog. Love, love, LOVE my people. I do great with older children and just want to be with my people. Though I currently live with 5 other dogs, I prefer to be the one and only. I can sit/wait/shake      Love to go on walks and do great on a leash.  Looking for my forever home....could it be with you????
