Cooper is a super sweet and adorable young boy whose family could no longer take care of him. He is good with kids and with other dogs and just about has that housebreaking thing down :) His foster momma will work on that with him and he will be a pro at it in no time! Cooper is full of Boxer energy and will be working on his manners, too :)
THE LATEST ON COOPER!!
Hi Everyone !
This is Cooper's foster Mom and Dad here ! We have had Cooper with us for a couple of weeks now - and we LOVE him !
We have had a number of fosters, have adopted and babysat boxers BUT - BUT - Cooper is hands down the easiest transition into our home that we have ever had - by far !
He is loving, affectionate, sweet, fun, playful, smart and happy. We have 3 boxers and a small boston terrier and he instantly got along with everyone. They sleep together, play together, hang out and watch us eat together - apparently that is a very interesting activity.
He is a young boy, he even has the soft puppy fur coat, and he is going to be a big boy. He is tall (or long) and uses that to his advantage. He has been caught counter surfing, even when food items have been placed as far back as they would go..... so you'll want to watch out for that. And being so young, he will fill out with age from where he is now.
He loves to play, and will play with you, or by himself too. He LOVES to be with you and around you AND lay on you if you're in bed or on the couch. He is SO sweet.
He also takes food treats VERY gently. No snapping at all from this boy.
His previous foster family said that he has separation anxiety, but one or both of us are home most of the time, so we haven't seen that, but it might be something to keep in mind depending on your situation.
We fell in love with him and hope he can find a special family to spoil him and love him forever.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids
Special Needs: Cooper can jump a 4' fence. He has some separation anxiety and his temp foster mom is working on crate training.
