Hi, I'm Bentley and I just want to sit on your lap and snuggle with you. I was found as a stray but definitely know what a house is, and prefer a house to being on the streets. I am potty trained (bonus for my foster family!) and crate up nicely with a treat. I'm quiet at night in my crate but will make a lot of noise to let you know I'm awake in the morning and need to go potty. During the day if I go in my crate I will whine for a short bit if I can hear you, but settle down after a minute or two.

My foster sister (a French Bulldog) let me know right away that she is the top dog in the house and I'm OK with that. To be honest, sometimes she scares me! I just want to play with her but sometimes she says "no" so I have to walk away. I'm trying to figure out how not to play so rough with her because I'm a lot bigger. I try, I really do!

Just like any young boxer, I am curious and easily excitable. I need to learn not to barrel over my human foster sisters when they get home from school. I also need to learn that not every dog on the street wants to play with me (I don't understand why not, I'm a fun guy!). I like my toys but don't play with them for long periods of time. I prefer to sit on the couch with my humans. I'm super gentle with my toys and just like to gnaw and slobber on them vs shredding them like my furfoster sister does.

I know the word sit but don't always do it on command. My foster family is helping me to learn human commands. My family is also helping me learn to walk on a leash as I am VERY strong and like to tug. I'm doing pretty good as long as there are no other dogs or distractions around :)
