FROM MINNIE'S FOSTER MOM:  Let me tell you about this beautiful soul. She came to me as an emaciated little girl many pounds under weight and with a broken hip as well. I was concerned about her past and unfamiliar with any behavioral problems she may have had. But she entered my home, which presently houses three other dogs, and fit into the situation with no hesitation. In short order, she commandeered the couch, my lap and snuggled sweetly against my back in bed at night. She quickly put on weight is recovering beautifully from hip surgery.

  I am amazed every day at the trusting nature of this little girl given the rough start prior to entering my home. She has an amazing personality, typical of a boxer. She will talk to you when she isn't getting her way with a low grumble that makes me laugh and bounces around my legs to get my full attention.

  We are presently working on socialization skills such as entering stores, leashed walks in a busy town with traffic and introductions to new places and situations. She has a natural love for people and behaves extremely well in all settings which include small children and other pets. She has shown no signs of aggression or inability to adapt to anything put before her. Patience is the key when teaching her anything new and once a trust has been made between the owner and pet, she is a dream to work with.

  She is crate trained, house broken ,leash trained and knows most basic commands. Not much on toys but has a love for her deer antler which she brings to bed and carries with her during the day.

  This girl is a total love bug with personality plus! She will be a great addition to any family.
