Bear was surrendered to an overcrowded kill shelter where he was adopted and then returned for being...well...a young Boxer boy.  He is good with other dogs and loves everyone.  Please check back for more information on Bear as we get to know him.

UPDATE ON BEAR:  Bear is settling into his temporary foster home and is doing well.  He has some resource guarding with food and toys that his foster mom is working on with him.  Bear will need some basic obedience training to help him be the best Boxer boy that he can be :) He would do best in a home with older children and with no cats.

THE LATEST:  Bear has settled into his temporary foster home quite well!  His foster mom has been working with him on manners and on sharing and he is doing fantastic.  His perfect home will continue training with him and will need to give him the play and exercise that all young energetic Boxers need :)  He has fit in beautifully with an assortment of breeds and ages of dogs.  His best friend is Breezey, a Boxer/Pug mix girl who he loves to play tug with and just run around the farm with.

BEAR IS IN HIS MINNESOTA FOSTER HOME:  We have had Bear for almost a week now and he is fitting in quite well. He is a good boy who is easy going and willing to do whatever is planned for the day. He likes to run around and would do well with a fenced in yard. He has boxer energy that's for sure and loves to run circles. Don't get me wrong he loves to sit and cuddle on the couch too. He has the most serious face I have seen in a boxer, and his underbite is priceless.

Bear is doing well learning to like his crate. He sleeps in his bed next to ours and sleeps through the night. The only sound he makes is his snoring. He is house broken and all around a good boy.

Bear would make a great addition to any family.
