Bobo is a gorgeous hunk of Boxer boy who spent a long time at the shelter waiting for his rescue to come.
He is young, sweet, handsome and good with other dogs :) He is in a temporary foster home children ages 7 and 4 and he's wonderful with them! He gets excited when he sees them and can be a little jumpy at first, but we are working on that and he's really doing great with it! He absolutely LOVES them! There are also 2 other Boxers and several foster babies both big and small in the home. When Bobo was first pulled from the shelter he was a little "growly" with the other dogs, but his temp foster mom followed the two-week shutdown procedure and kept him in a crate separated from them for two weeks. Since then, he has been wonderful!!! He's such a sweet baby and SUCH a cuddle bug!!!He hasn't shown any food aggression, but did was very protective of his Kong in the beginning and growled, but his temp foster mom started crating him when giving it to him. Now, he loves to get in his crate and chew on it, so he runs straight to his crate whenever he sees me get out the Kong filling!
UPDATE FROM MN FOSTER MOM: Bobo looks tough on the outside, but he is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had! He is great with all other dogs and kids (even the small chihuahua and my 2 year old). I don't have cats, but the last foster said he would try and chase the farm cats when they would run. He is a very smart dog and is training really well. The ideal home for him would have another younger dog to play with or an active human to keep him busy!
Bobo is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.
