Slinky's owner passed away and he was taken to an overfull shelter.  He had previously lived inside his entire life but was left outside for a while before going to the shelter.  His rescue angel Dawn worked relentlessly to get him pulled and into rescue.  Slinky is hanging out with a temporary foster until he goes to his foster home in a few days.  He did great with some brief intros to the resident dogs and with the children in the home.   

FROM LISA:  Our boy is doing amazing! Slept all night in my room on the floor no potty messes since he's been here at the ranch! When I got up this morning and everyone was ready to go potty he was wagging his tail so hard his whole butt was wagging!

THE LATEST:  Slinky has settled in beautifully at his foster home.  He gets along great with the pack and is very, very sweet.  The vet said he is in great shape but could lose a few pounds...his foster furbrothers and sisters are helping him with that and have taught him how to run and play in the yard :)
