Hey everyone...Cooper here!!  I am feeling much better now that I kicked that nasty parvo!  I am eaing lots and lots of good food and playing and am so glad to be back with my foster mom and dad.
Cooper is putting on some much-needed weight and feeling and looking so much better after his battle with parvo.  Cooper is all vetted andl all ready to find his furever family!

UPDATE:  Cooper is a great boy. He has lots of puppy energy and is a snuggly boy. He is crate trained but does bark and whine when he hears you enter the house or when you are leaving. There have been no accidents in the crate. He has had a couple of accidents in the house, but he is still a puppy and needs time to learn.

He loves our other dogs and wrestles non stop. He is very fixated on our cat. He does not try to hurt the cat, but he really wants to chase him constantly. I would not recommend him being placed with a cat unless the cat is very dog savvy.

When around family members, he is very attentive and loving. He loves to chew on toys and bones. Cooper would make a great running pal as he is full of energy. He will need someone to take him to obedience because he is a strong willed boy. He is not aggressive in any way, just very "focused" on what he wants to do. He could do very well in a family with young children, as he is very sweet but he has lots of energy and could knock children over if they are young.

He is a great size at 40 pounds and I do not see him getting much bigger than his current size. He will most likely put on weight, but not increase in height.
