JB is new to the rescue and will be going to his temporary foster home in North Carolina very soon.  He gets along great with other dogs and LOVES people.  He's your typical bouncy, energetic boxer.  He's very muscular and needs work on manners.  He will jump up and totally swipe your face with his tongue before you know what hits you.  He is a favorite of the shelter workers and was not up for adoption there because he was heartworm positive.  

UPDATE:  JB is settling into his foster home in Indiana.  He loves attention and baths.  JB has alot of energy and will do best with a familiy who is committed to giving him the exercise and training that a young Boxer needs.  He does pretty well in his crate.  He is very curious about the cats in his foster home and want to chase them.  He is incredibly smart and knows the commands for sit and for shake.  He listens well, is very treat-motivated and is eager to please :)  He is fantastic with other dogs and great with kids.  He will do best in a home with other dogs, no cats please. JB is all finished with heartworm treatment and is ready to find his furever home...is it yours?!?
