Sweet Jenny was found wandering in rural Kentucky, scared and starving.  She spent the night at the vet clinic and got checked over.  So far we know she did well with other dogs at the clinic and has been very gentle and loving with kids.  She doesn't seem to mind cats.  She goes up and down the stairs with ease, she is housetrained and knows commands.

UPDATE:  Miss Jenny is a very good girl who will spend the day attached to you. She is not very independent. She would prefer to be by your side. She will need an adjustment time and strict feeding guidelines. She would still eat an entire bag if allowed! Jenny is house trained but you would need to keep a close eye on her for a few weeks. She would rather eat than be bothered with going potty sometimes so she needs to be reminded that it potty time. She will go out then back in for food. I just say go potty and she will drop her head and go back out.. kinda like a toddler.  She will be fine in a house with out a fence I believe because she really isn't an outside girl. Even now that she is feeling better when we go out for play time she would rather be inside after a few minutes. She is not one to go out voluntarily to walk the yard and play with the other dogs.

Jenny is not fond of dogs bigger than her so the neighbors dog may take a bit for her to get used to, she seems to be afraid of dogs who are bigger than her.  She will play with smaller dogs. She doesn't like her head touched there appear to be old wounds there so she is fearful when you reach to pet her head. We have been working on this. Now her booty is a different story though tiny she loves it to be scratched!

Jenny is gentle when taking treats, kids will love that. She is pretty small so horse play will have to wait for a bit. She is getting stronger everyday and gaining about five pounds per week. She will have to be fed a high quality food to continue this success.
