Wrigley and his sister Nova are ADORABLE pups who just arrived at their foster home.  They need a few more vet visits to get caught up on their vetting then they will be ready to find their furever homes.  They are mixed breed puppies...mom is a Pug, dad is a Boxer.  We will be assisting their former owner with getting mom spayed.  Please check back for more information on Wrigley as we get to know him!

UPDATE FROM WRIGLEY'S FOSTER MOM:  Wrigley is doing great and yes he is pretty adorable! He has a great personality. His little face says so much and he is a very happy puppy. He definitely has the Pug “larger than life” personality, sometimes he forgets he is the littlest dog in the group and he just doesn’t care! It’s pretty funny! He eats very well. I feed him and Nova together, so they can learn to share, and they both just gobble their meals right up! Yes, he is a very friendly guy. He gets along great with his sister Nova and is playing more and more with my dog Barley. She is a 6 year old Lab/German shepherd mix, about 60lbs, and she is so good with our fosters, especially puppies. We also have a 6 years old son, named Matthew, who has enjoyed playing with them too. They will chase him around in the yard or bring him sticks to play with them. They also let him hold them and aren’t that “mouthy” with him. They are learning well that we don’t chew on hands and toes, just toys! J Both pups are all puppy and love to play, play, play but they can be worn out, are learning to snuggle, and are sleeping well in their crate. At this point both seem healthy and the bad bellies they had last week are all gone!

The thing I do want to make sure everyone knows about Wrigley is that he is more Pug than Boxer, at least in looks. He is much smaller than Nova and has the pudgy Pug face. I have no clue how big he will be obviously, but I would assume he will stay on the smaller side. He does have the fun, carefree Boxer puppy personality and, like I mentioned before, he thinks he is so BIG sometimes!
