When his owner moved out of his home, Champ was left behind.  He spent a week all alone until the family of his owner surrendered him to the shelter, where he has been for two months.  He was getting very stressed and shutting down in the kennel so the shelter reached out to rescue since he had had no adoption interest.  We aren't sure who wouldn't want this handsome older boy as a family member but we are thrilled to have him with us.  Champ is good with other dogs and is very people friendly.  He is NOT good with cats.  

UPDATE:  Champ had surgery to remove some small tumors and bumps that are typical of a senior Boxer and had some dental work done and he did great!!!  He will be staying in his current home as a forever foster and is availalble for sponsorship to help with the cost of his surgery, biopsies, dental work and monthly preventatives.
