This ADORABLE boy came to us from central Kentucky and he is at the vet clinic and being treated for his skin condition.  Otto is said to be good with other dogs, cats and kids.  Once Otto is feeling a little better he will be neutered and microchipped then he will be ready to find his foster or adoptive home!!

12/9 UPDATE:  Otto is finally cleared for surgery!  He will be getting neutered and microchipped on the 15th.  His skin is looking, feeling and smelling much better.  Still not much hair growth but he was in such bad shape that that is going to take a while.  He is full of fun and energy and loves everyone at the clinic :)

12/27 UPDATE:  Otto came down with kennel cough so his scheduled surgery was postponed a week.  He was neutered and micrchipped last week and did great!!

1/2/21:  Otto will be moving to his Minnesota foster home on 1/9...please check back in on him soon!

UPDATE FROM THE MAN...ERRRRR....DOG HIMSELF!!

Hi!  My name is Otto and I am a 2-3 year old Boxer! I was rescued all the way from Kentucky, so right now, I am adjusting to the snow (!) and life in a home. I am doing so well, and my foster mom would describe me as “SUPER friendly, playful, and snuggly!!” I have a love for bones, toys, and belly rubs! Because I haven’t had any training, I still don’t know much yet, but I am definitely eager to please and my foster mom thinks that once we start working on a few basic commands, I will pick it right up because she thinks I’m very smart! Because I wasn’t properly cared for before being rescued, my coat has some growing to do. I stay warm in this snow by wearing my little fleece, and with my medicine, my coat is starting to grow some fur! My foster mom cannot say enough positive things about me, and thinks that I would make a person or family so very happy with my wiggles, slight clumsiness, zest for life, and ability to chill!

P.S. My mom thinks that my smile is one of a kind!!
