The shelter is no place for a new mom and her two babies.  Mazzie and her four day old babies needed help and with the amazing offers to transport and foster this little family, we are very excited to say they are AABR babies now.  Mazzie will be spending the next 5-6 weeks taking care of her babies in her foster home then she will be vetted and ready to find her new family.  She is a wonderful momma :)

Mazzie and her babies are doing great!  She is learning that people are OK and she loves to bring all of her toys to her spot.  She loves women but is a little timid around men.  Mazzie is great with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats.

Mazzie continues to amaze me.  She is finding her inner boxer and is doing the famous boxer wiggle.  She is now eating from a bowl but still needs additional hand feeding due to nursing her pups.  She remains nervous around common daily household noises but slowly coming out of her shell and realizing the world is NOT such a bad place.

Mazzie is an amazing momma and is weening her puppies.  they are big and are ready.  She is teaching them how to play and is very gentle with them.  She is much more comfortable with day to day life.  She will bark at the sweeper and the lawn mower.  she loves to run and play.  her absolute favorite thing is SQUEAKY TOYS>>>
