Hey everyone, my name is Layla!  I am a petite southern girl looking to relocate north.  I love, love, love other dogs and love all people, big and small.  My foster mom and dad are just getting to know me and will tell you more about me soon!!!

UPDATE FROM LAYLA'S TEMP FOSTER MOM:  When Layla came to us, it appeared that she was very unsocialized as she had such fear of the outside world.  She was very comfortable inside our home and fit in with our 3 resident Boxers immediately but as soon as we would take her outside, she would freeze up and tremble.  She was even very cautious stepping onto the grass as this seemed foreign to her.

Layla has been with us over a month now and her transformation is amazing!   She now loves to run in the yard to the extent that at times she does not want to come back in the house.  She loves toys with fetching a ball or playing tug with a rope toy with one of our other Boxers being her favorites.   I think she could play fetch for hours!  She will also play contently by herself - it's so cute watching her play with a toy all the while "talking" and sounding a bit like Chewbacca.  She is completely potty trained, crate trained, shows no signs of aggression, and is a very smart little girl and a quick learner.  She is an awesome lap dog, loves to snuggle her face to yours and smother you with kisses.  Layla has a great personality and is an absolute doll!!  She will be a great addition to any family.
